P Pampers New member Jan 30, 2001 #3 Seems like a good idea to me. The National Match rear sight on an M1, or an M14, is a hooded apature, (With 1/2 MOA elevation adjustment included.) and it is the BEST IRON SIGHT EVER OFFERED ON ANY RIFLE, EVER! Yr. Obt. Svnt.
