Homeade treasure

My uncle made this gun and I don't know where he got his wood for stocks. HE made several dozen during his life and when he passed there were several stocks in the middle of being completed several pieces of wood for stocks not started on. I wish I had been the craftsman he was, because all the tools and and other items for for this craft were all in his shop and I was told to get anything I wanted. At 23 and 2200 miles from home the opportunity went right over my head. I am sorry now I didn't get more, but I am truly happy for what I did get.
 
Ok, I'm not usually a fan of light colored stocks but wow, that's a good looking rifle. Your uncle did fantastic work.
 
That's a nice looking rifle, your uncle does good work.

I'd like to see more people put together their own rifles. I appreciate the ones I've built much more then the ones I've bought.
