Hey guys,
I wanted to post some of the rests I have fabricated for myself & brothers & friends. Since retiring from gunsmithing('93), I still operate a machine/fabrication/welding shop & still work p/t at my present employer. I still shoot a lot & hunt our woodchucks here in PA on the farmlands and do a lot long-range shooting. I made several types of rests that are quite easy to fabricate for those who are handy with metal. These are all made with scrap material I get from work.
The first is a fully adjustable all-steel bench rest, the second is a lightweight aluminum telescoping rest to use when you're in your favorite lawn chair, & the third is my very compact field/bench rest I use when on the farms. The third unit is a modification of an old series rest made by an old, long-gone company, Tru-Aim, and I believe they were originally from the Pittsburgh area. They are easy to make if any of you have access to some decent scrap material.
Here's some pics.... gonna need (3) posts to get them all on, so please give me a few xtra minutes to post them.... Thanks..... Denny
