Home for Christmas...

I put this on layaway a few weeks ago and was able to get it out a couple of days before Christmas.

1994, Smith & Wesson Model 66-4 "Lady Smith." 357 Magnum of course, with a 2 1/2" barrel, round butt, and combat stocks.

Which is funny because I normally don't care for revolvers with barrels shorter (or longer) than 4", I don't normally care for round butt revolvers, or fingergrove stocks.

But in this case, those things all work.

I've been told the "Lady Smith" version is somewhat scarce. I've seen a number of Model 65 LS's but never another 66LS.

Apparently not. I used to have one of the Model 65 LS's I mentioned, a K-frame, six shot, with a 3" barrel, and a shrouded ejector rod. There is also a 3913, 9mm Lady Smith semi-auto.

I've got my eye open for another 3913. The ones I've seen are really nice.

Back in the college days I used to work in the gunshop and we sold a ton of the 3913 LS and the 65's to local police officers. They loved them! Enjoy your new gun!
