I used to carry124 gr. Speer Gold Dots but I had problems with bullet setback after chambering a round just a few times. I swiched to Rem. Golden Sabers (124 gr. +P) they have a very thick jacket & can take many repeated chamberings without the bullet budging at all. If like me, you can't find or afford Win.127 gr. +P+ STX, then the 124 gr. +P Golden Sabers may be your best bet. Whatever you choose shoot as much as you can afford to,(1-200 rounds) in each gun before trusting your life to it. Personally I've found that to keep the point of impact about the same it's useful to match the bullet weight of my carry ammo with what I use for practice.
