Holster's for the small Taurus snub.

The small Taurus snubs are almost the same size as a S&W model #36. I can use the same holsters for my Taurus, but it takes some "pushing". The one I want to use is a Don Hume "Agent 710".
However, it leaves the trigger on the Taurus slightly exposed. I can see the trigger, but I can't pull the trigger. Would you use it...or not?

with a little needle and thread you can modify the uncle mike's to fit....perhaps by opening up the bottom or by the trigger guard...or get rid of it and buy a smith 442/642 :)

What about objects like sticks or keys getting jammed in there and firing the weapon?

I think Don't Shoot is right on this one. I am a great believer in home made holsters and modifications once I learned to use a leather awl.

For example here is my recent effort, which conforms to my idea of more generous trigger protection. The fellow who showed me how to make this style holster cuts his down about another 3/4 inch, but that is his idea of what is right.
