Holsters for other revolvers that fit a Charter Arms 1st gen Bulldog?

I have a 1st gen, Stratford, Conn, Bulldog 3". Anyone know of another, more common revolver with the same dimensions as the Bulldog? Looking for more holster options.

If you can find the right barrel length any holster for a Colt D frame (Detective) or S&W K frame fits a Charter Bulldog fairly well. I have ask you if you actually shoot that thing with those grips? My wood grips got replaced after the first range session with Pachmayr Compacts. Much better. That is a very nice Charter. They don't make'em like that any more.

Gould & Goodrich "B891-62" belt slide holster. Also fits Colt Detective Special and Ruger SP101. It's open at the bottom, so barrel length isn't an issue.

It's all I use for carrying both new and old model Bulldogs (OWB at 4:00). Carries very well and holds the gun close. It doesn't break the bank at only 25 or so bucks.

S&W J-frame with a 3" barrel.

S&W Models 30, 31, 36, and 37 with 3" barrels use the same holsters, as well as a Taurus 74.

My original pic is just a generic image I found on the net and used.

Here is my Bulldog. Purchased about 9 years ago at a gun show for about $200 bucks. The blueing was very worn so I sent it back to Charter Arms and they "re-blued" it for me. Actually came out more like a parkerized finish...which I'm not complaining about because it seems to be a much tougher finish than the original blueing.

Anyway, here's my Bulldog...and yes, I definately replaced those original wood grips.

It's not pretty or fancy, but it's my favorite hiking/camping carry piece.

I have a Bianchi Shadow 7L holster that's marked for a 2-3" Ruger... it fits my old bulldog perfectly.
