Holster

I broke in my holster as per some advice here (I put the gun in a sock and then in the holster). It worked great!!!! But.... ( :D ) how do I prevent the holster from reconforming to the tighter fit that I was trying to get rid of by doing the above? Every now and again, the holster shrinks back to its original shape and I have to stick a sock in it literally ;) Don't want to have to do that. Is there a way?

Exile,

If this is a leather holster that you are having troubles with, try oiling it with Neatsfoot Oil. This is a great oil for all but the softest leather and helps it loosen up and relax. I have used it for years on horse tack and it should be fine on a holster. You can pick it up at a local tack store or even some hardware stores. I hope this helps some.
