Holster suggestions for 8 3/8 N frame S&W

I haven't found the heart to scope any of my handguns yet....maybe I'll consider it for this one. Until then, I am looking at options for quality shoulder rigs for my new S&W 629 Classic Hunter (8 3/8"). I prefer leather, but I will look into other options. I also think a bandoleer / cross the chest style one would be ideal.

Any thoughts?

I will admitt the truth, when it come to holsters I have turned into a cheapskate!!
For my long barrel revolvers I am using Unkle Mike's.
I have been satisfied with the standard shoulder holster and the across the chest style.

IMO the best shoulder rig for long barreled wheelguns has to be the alessi "fieldmaster".

it has a holster pouch which holds the gun inside a pivot piece which is attached to the harness. the pouch is retained in the vertical axis by a thumb break. popping the break allows the pouch to pivot forward (hinge located under trigger guard) and the gun to be drawn out forward/horizonally. sounds complicated but is very smooth.

Roy Baker used to make .....

a five slot "pancake" holster for long barrelled pistols and revolvers.

One could wear it crossdraw and it rode like a low shoulder rig, but without the straps. Can't find a listing for Baker holsters anymore.
