Can't help on the shoulder holsters.

But, I can recommend High Noon Holsters and Don Hume, both for IWB and OWB holsters.

Shoulder holster

I hate saying this but I had an SP101 and it rode in a Uncle Mike's shoulder holster. That same holster is now 10 years old and my M-85 calls it home now.

Holster for an SP-101

YES! I need a holster for my SP-101.
The little gun is bigger than a "J" frame Smith and smaller than a "K" frame Smith. If you go leather, I guess I will have to try and reforn a "K" frame holster, to fit. A Safariland can not be refirmed because it is formed from car dashboard material and can not be reformed.

Take a long look at holsters by FIST!

FIST makes high quality holsters at a very, very reasonable price. Take a look at their holster selection http://www.fist-inc.com/ and choose the ones you want. Also, they are quite resonable as far as waiting time is concerned.

I carry my 2.25" SP101 in a Kirkpatrick 4100. It holds the gun tight to my side, making it easily concealable. It is also quite comfortable for all day carry (15-16 hours). Another advantage is the design will allow you to use the same holster for both barrel length Rugers.

Depends on what you're looking to spend. A friend of mine carries his SP101 in an inexpensive Uncle Mikes Belt Holster.

I carry mine, and all of my guns, in a custom made belt holster from http://www.blackhillsleather.com . Features include smooth interior leather for easy draw, and less gun wear. Reinforced top so I don't have to pull the damn thing open to re-holster. The holster is custom made for the SP101, and your method of carry.

Prices are about the same as Galco. $50 to $100.00...

Okay....Fedex just delivered my Wilson Combat Lo-Profile this morning. As usual with my OWB purchases, this one is also destined for the drawer full of 'holsters I don't use'. It fits the gun well and is comfortable to wear, but the grip projects at a slight angle away from the body when worn. I know that this is a good position to draw from, but it's lousy from the concealment standpoint.

I'll still be using my cheap Uncle Mikey's fabric IWB holster that allows the gun to fit itself to the contour of my body. I wear shorts and t-shirts all summer long and haven't had any of my carry guns spotted yet with these low budget beauties. I carry anything from the SP, to a Commander size 1911, to an L-frame 696 and all the different sized holsters needed to carry them cost less than one single leather holster that doesn't conceal nearly as well.

sp leather

I have a 3" sp that I carry somtimes in a desantis/bianchi; and they function ok. I usually buy either hume/milt sparks, but old milt is backed up from here to the Mexican border, so I'll wait. don hume is good leather, and the waiting line is short, if there is a line at all.
but which ever you choose, buy quality.
