i have started packing two guns recently. i ordered two Kramer belt scabbards, one right hand one left hand. i carry one on each side just a little back from the point of my hips.
in one holster is a K40 and in the other is an MK40. not only is a second gun as fast or faster than a reload, the first gun may jam or a part in first the gun (spring, link) may fail leaving it useless.
what is uprising to me is that on the belt, one gun seems to balance the other. this gives a feeling of carry that has to be experienced to be believed.
this is not a new concept, armed men and women have been partial to the two weapon concept since the days of blades. when pistols came out it seemed like the thing to do as handguns shot only once and were slow to load. later when revolvers cames out the choice was six round on tap or twelve.
a no brainer.
