Holster question

Hi guys - I just received a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 IWB holster after many months but it looks like it was worth the wait. My question is; I carry a Springfield TRP 5" 1911 and was wondering where some of you guys position your holster (3 o-clock, 4 o-clock etc...). Pictures would be great. Thanks

I have the exact same rig, gun and all!!!

3:30ish works best for me. Puts the grip of
the gun in a perfect place for a comfortable draw (for me).

Mitch,
I use Milt Sparks #1 Heritage IWB holsters for 4" and 5" 1911's. The most comfortable location for me is between 2:30 - 3:00 position. Choose whatever fits your pants loops and is most comfortable to you. The Versa Max are very popular holsters and deservedly so. Tony Kanaley (current owner) makes GREAT holsters and is a nice guy too! I stopped to visit him last year when we were traveling thru Boise, Idaho.

Another 3:30 - maybe 3:15 at times.

If you are relatively thin, this position seems to allow the gun to ride in the small of you hip. I carry all my guns in this position, including 2" and 4" S&W Model 15s and a 5" 1911 with no issues.

You'll just have to play with it for a few weeks until you find the sweet spot.
