So just got the Crossbreed Supertuck and I like it. Carrying full size Springfield 1911A1 Stainless. My front clip (on the holster) is second from the top and the back clip is second from the bottom. I think this may be the best way to avoid printing but I am ears open for suggestions. The part that will make you laugh..never had a holster like this so will sitting on it in the car uh.....hurt the gun....the forged piece of steel..?

Gunslick you will cry uncle long before the gun does. Figuring out how to carry a gun and getting comfortable doing it takes a little while. Enjoy!

it seems the supetuck wants to be sort of toward the hip but lower right back..with the way i have it set up now. i like the idea of carrying this full size pistol it is comfortable as heck im just trying to figure out best spots to put the clips. right now the front clip 3 down from top and rear clip is second down from top. this config seems to be best so far but i would like to hear from you guys and where you put your clips on your super tucks. I am 5' 11'' and 205 lbs. athletic build.

Experiment with it in different locations. I rarely use an IWB and normally if I am, it's because I am going to be on my feet, not sitting or driving, buy that's just me. Mostly I go OWB with either a paddle or belt holster. My paddles seem to give enough on position to make driving ok . I don't find printing to have been an issue, even when I lived in California

A good friend of mine carries daily IWB. Lots of driving, so he's on it all the time.

When we shoot, he has to aim further and further to the right from the gun being bent from him sitting on it..............

Seriously - true story - now hold my beer and watch this.....................:p

This is like the boxers or brief argument - It's whatever YOU like the best.

And - it's not a true story. If that gun can be damaged from 205lb of soft flesh leaning on it, please don't fire it, as it will not withstand the 20,000ish psi that comes along with shooting it.
