I hope this is the right forum! It's for handguns.

Who Makes the Original bellyband? there so many knock off brands...

Also does anyone use a bellyband for like a lcp or a jframe or any other gun? Please I would like to hear how you like it and what brand did you buy?

Thanks.

Before you spend your money for one, . . . get a long piece of Ace bandage, . . . wrap it around your belly with your gun stuck in there for good measure.

If after you have worn that all day, . . . you still want one, . . . have at it.

May God bless,
Dwight

I just want it for a light weight Ruger LCP and turn it around so its on my back. I wasn't planning on using it for a J frame or full size gun lol.

I used to use an old Bianchi belly band on occasion a long time back, but was never really fond of them. I think they may have been one of the first big name makers to actually offer one.

Once I tried a Smart Carry, I was sold on them, and its one of my favorite holsters now. I use one for my Seecamp, but have used them with my P230's and even my P239. The Seecamps are a lot more comfortable with the type of pants I wear though. You can use the Smart Carry belly band fashion, but its a lot more comfortable and concealable when worn as its meant to be.

I have a neat little clip holster for the LCP, . . . easy on, . . . easy off.

It can be worn butt rearward as an OWB, . . . butt pointing away from the spine, above right rear pocket, . . . it becomes a disappearing IWB.

May God bless,
Dwight

Bianchi made the Belly Band. as far as i know, it was the first mass produced rig of it's kind on the open market; i first saw one in the 1980s. it is no longer made by Bianchi, but several companies make their own versions of this type of deep concealment setup; i believe Galco has an offering of this style.

the Bianchi is not gun model specific. it accommodates 1 handgun, handcuffs, 2 extra magazines, and money pouch is onboard. it is made of a medium brown colored ballistic nylon material with the closure being assisted by velcro. there is much room for various placement adjustments of the rig. it can carry a G26 under a loose fitting tee shirt without printing.

this is not a rig for fast draw or quick gun acquisition. it is however... a great deep concealment setup that gets the job done when more conventional concealment is not an option.

occasionally i see the Bianchi Bellyband being auctioned up on ebay. is it worth the search? imo it is, should you have the need for this type of offering.
