Holster Options

I'm waiting for my carry permit to come back from the state. I have my carry weapon (Taurus Mil Pro 9mm), but I'm not sure about carry methods/holsters. There are a lot of options out there. While I know it's a very personal thing and no one has the same body shape/wardrobe combination, I would appreciate some general comments and advice. If I stuff my gun in the waistband of my pants, it disappears at two o'clock (or eleven o'clock crossdraw). I live in Florida and wear jeans and an untucked t-shirt almost all year. I've tried the cheap Uncle Mike's, but that made it ride too high and bulge out like a big "Hey, I've got a gun" flag. An ankle holster might work in winter since I wear baggy pants (around my waist, thank you), but that doesn't help when shorts are necessary in the summer. I've looked at many options online, including: Crossbreed's SuperTuck, High Noon's Bare asset, Thunderwear, and DiSantis Tuck This II. I'm thinking of going to the next local gun show to see if I can try some first-hand. Again, any general advice would be appreciated.

A few options

High Noon is a great company. I carry a Glock 26 in a HN Down Under with clip. Great holster. Concealable, comfortable.

I also have a HN Topless for my Smith and Wesson M&P. I am very happy with this also

I also have a Desantis Tuck This for my M&P. This one is an ok holster, I will probably invest in a down under for my M&P in the future.

Also try: http://www.usgalco.com
Galco is a perennial favorite.

Enjoy!
