I recently fell into a good deal in a 4" Python that is now at Colt for refurbishment. I have a few months to shop for a holster good enough to put it in.
I'm looking for a top quality OWB straight drop with belt slots. It's not so much a concealment holster I'm looking for as a a straightforward holster that would simply be for holding the Python while outdoors, at a plate shoot, or at a barbecue.
The trouble is that as I look at the web sites for the top holster makers it seems that they are very oriented towards concealment and semi-auto holsters.
I thought of the Cowboy Action oriented holster outfits and looked for San Pedro Saddlery who made me a great custom holster for a Ruger Blackhawk some years ago, but I can't find a website for them and am wondering if they're still in business.
Anyway, any thoughts or suggestions?
