Holster/mag carrier combo

Looking for a good setup for IDPA and practical street carry.
5'4" so a moster rig is not an option.
G23 is the pistol.

Also will the difference in the 165 and 180 grain ammo make that much difference? Wally world has a great price, but the availability is spotty at best and it leaves me with a mixed bag of 165 & 180 grain pills?
 
There are a number of good IWB and belt holsters available. Expect to spend around $60 and up. Kydex is faster.

The only difference in bullet weight is point of impact. Heavier bullets will shoot higher.

The G23 is pretty snapy, you might want to put in a 22lb recoil spring.
 
I'm not sure of all the rules about modifications, but I'm sure that one is allowed. That modification, (changing the recoil spring), is to improve function and reliability, not to gain an "unfair" advantage.

Give me a bit, and I'll verify it.
