Holster / Lasermax Disagreement

So I've got the Lasermax in my P239, and I just got a Kramer IWB holster for it. I'm not even big on laser use, I shoot better without it, but why not just stick with it, right? Anyway, I really like the Kramer holster, beats the crap out of the unreinforced suede Bianchi I'd been using before, even if it is a little wider and does force my holster belt to go to the farthest notch now. Problem is, unless I use a lot of care in how I angle the gun when I holster it, the new holster catches the takedown lever and flicks on the laser. Not good for the battery, and I imagine angling the gun into the holster might wear out the retention quicker. Not sure if there's really a "fix," to to speak, short of filing down the laser's on switches or an area of the holster, but I thought I'd put it out there to see what people think.

Try wet molding the amount of clearance you need for the laser switch. Wet the inside of the holster with water only in the area where the switch makes contact, let it soak in for a few minutes or until the leather is a little pliable.
Keep water off the outside of holster, as it may compromise the finish.
Then take a piece of wood scrap or plastic, about the thickness needed to allow a clean draw/presentation. Insert into the holster first and follow with your handgun /laser (wrapped in cling wrap) until it seats. Let it air dry and you should be good to go. Hope this helps.
