Holster Help

I have a friend that just bought a Kimber Ultra Carry II and has never carried CCW. What I'm i'm looking for a holster explaintion thread. Or a beginner carry thread. The only advice I have is what I have expereince with and I learned the expensive way. Anyone know of a good site that might have some good Basic education?

What kind of education do you need to know about a holster? Anything particular? Put it on, put your gun in it and it's good. It may or may not be comfortable. What works for me may not work for you so chances are that your friend may buy several holsters looking for the right one.
