Holster for Dan Wesson M14

I've owned 3 DWs, but always used them in silhouette competition and didn't need a holster. My new/old M14 with a 4" barrel and fixed sights will be a carry gun - if I can figure out how to carry it.
There are lots of holsters for the K and L frame Smiths and Rugers around. Does anyone know if any of these sizes is close enough that it would fit or could be re-shaped?

Most off the shelf holsters for the S&W "L" frame fit the DW small frame revolvers just fine.
Don Hume offers several holsters for the DW small frame at pretty reasonable prices. If you want to spend more and get a custom holster check with FIST.

Japle...I just got my wife's Dan Wesson Model 14 out of the safe and tried it with my Galco, two slot, right hand belt holster and it fits perfectly. The model number stamped on the holster is FL114. I've been using the holster for a S&W model 66 4" that I just sold yesterday. I'm up in St. Augustine, and my sister is down in your area, Brevard County ?? Good luck.

More than 20 years ago I got a friend, who made holsters, to make me a Left Hand holster for a Dan Wesson M15. The gun has long since been sold.
I found the holster in my junk pile. My 686 would fit into the holster [barely].
I wet the holster down GOOD and let it get about 1/2 dry, then put the Dan Wesson in it. After it dried more and a bitting, I have a holster to use NOW.

Take your gun to a gun shop that will let you try their holsters and see....

Thanks guys.

I talked to a fellow named Dan Wesson II (think he might know?) and he said anything for the Python would work. I also tried one for the GP100 and it worked fine, too.
Brownell's carried the Safariland 560 and I can get it from them for dealer price.
