holster and other info

I just bot the taurus 357 "cia". I also bot the "uncle mack" pocket holster. a client of mine, who is big time into guns (he must own 40 or more) strongly recommended a leather holster for conceal carry. I live in texas and rarely wear a coat. I also am in the financial planning/ investment business, so I usually am dressed with a tucked in shirt, but not jacket.

any suggestions on what holster to use?

it's "winter" (although not very cold) now so i will wear more turtle necks, which will not be tucked in. but in the summer i usually wear dress slacks and a short sleeve tucked in shirt.

any recs you might have would be greatly appreciated.

tuckable.

Most holster companies have "tuckables." You can wear them with a tucked in shirt. I know galco makes one, but most companies do. Just search for tuckable holsters on google. I believe DeSantis makes one and HighNoon Holsters makes some I believe.

You might also want to check out Don Hume's line, Late. Good stuff and very reasonably priced. http://donhume.com He makes a couple of different pocket holsters. I have a one of these for my Beretta 3032 and it works quite well.

Comp-tac makes fine tuckable holsters. I carry a S&WSC in the Commander size with no problem at all.

thanks for the info...

went out n fired it today. was quite pleased. I'm not gun expert (i rely mostly on my client who is), but it shot well and I hit "in the chest" with all five shots on my first try.

next ?... what about speedloaders? I've seen lots of talk, mostly dissing them. i went ahead n bot one cuz it was relatively cheap, but it didnt seem like it really held the bullits that securely. i asked the guy bout a holder (for my belt or sumfin) for it and he basically said it was too cumbersome. what do y'all use?
