Holographic sights... best value?

So what is the "best bang for the buck" holo sight out there? I see anything from super cheap to megabuck. My needs are for a small dot like 1 or 2 moa for silhouette and target shooting. A larger dot just hides too much of the target. I am presently using BSA's but they are barely acceptable. Will be using them on high accuracy 22 rimfires.

Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 1xRed Dot Sight Riflescope

That is about $80.
It is less than 4 ounces.
I have not beat it up, but it seems to work perfectly.
For a hunting gun, I can't see anything wrong with it.
Maybe for troops in military situations they need something heavier duty, but for mounting on a gun that is going to be mounted on a gun that rides in the car in a hard case, and then get carried around carefully once a year, this should do it.

Here is a pretty good video about it

I bought a Trueglo Holo sight for $100, It would have been nice if the dot didnt shift on the screen when switching between reticles. I went to the store to buy an EOTech yesterday, but ended up buying a Burris 3x32 tactial scope. The burris has built in drop compensation for the 5.56 round, big plus for me!

I use a sight mark on my ruger 22/45 for squirrel hunting,it has a choice of four reticles with 3m dot.Works great out to fifty yards. 49.95 at Dunhams. I have used it for 2 years with no problems.
:)

+1 for the TRS-25. I have had mine for several years and it's been great. Nice crisp 3moa dot, it stays zeroed and doesn't break the bank.

For a few dollars more you may want to check out Ultradot. Ultradot's have a great rep in Bullseye shooting.

I also have Eotech and a Tripower. Eotech is nice bright and solid. Tripower is very reliable and solid also. Prefer the Tripower.

I don't know if reflex sights fall in your category of "holographic sight" but I own a Burris Fastfire III and its pretty awesome.

Its very small, has a 3 moa dot. I dont know that i have ever seen a 1 or 2 moa dot, but given that mine is a 3 it would be a very very tiny dot.

^these people had the best prices I could find on it. You won't regret it if you get one, its a highly versatile and accurate.

The vortex sparc is about $250 and has a 2MOA dot. It's a tube style red dot, not a holosight, but functions about the same. Mine keeps 0 very well.
