Does anybody have any input or experience with the Hogue stock and barrel combos that I see advertised for the Ruger 10/22. My old stock 10/22 is looking pretty beat these days from alot of coonhunting, thought I might dress it up a little. Questions - the Hogue bull barrels: accuracy wise, how do they compare to the stock Ruger standard barrel? Is the Hogue synthetic overmolded stock heavier than the original birchwood stock? Where can a good deal be found on this combination? If you have other suggestions on better barrels, let me know. I'm looking to make it more durable and accurate but don't want to go nuts on it - after all its just a .22 Thanks guys.
