Hogue recoil systems for shotguns

I rectnly saw an advertisement for the new system from Hogue that is upposed to greatly reduce recoil on shotguns. I've got a Mossberg 500 for a house gun with an 18" barrel shooting 00buck and I've got to say it's not something I practice with much because of the recoil.
Would appreciate any comments on the this system regarding how effective it is.
Thanks in advance.

Hogue products seem to be well made,Mike, but they're a high tech solution to a low tech problem.

To keep a shotgun from kicking excessively, lighten the load or heavy up the gun.

The HD 870 here, fully loaded with SideSaddle mag, extended mag, clamp, and 10 rounds of assorted 12 ga ammo, runs about 9 1/2 lbs. WHAT Kick?

Add a sidesaddle to that Mossy and feel the kick mule turn into a pony.

And/or, go to a lighter load, there's plenty of tactical and low recoil loads out there.
