Hogue hardwood grip for Sig P229

Does anyone have one of those?
Do they make the pistol much thicker/thinner?
Are they comfortable?

much thicker than the Sig grip. if you get one get the checkered one. i have had both and the smooth grip was slick in the hand. this is actualy one of the only guns BETTER with a factory grip.

I have tried the Hogue grips both hardwood and the rubber. I still like the SIG stock grips the best. With the Hogue rubber grips I find that they are too tacky. There is no chance to readjust your grip. The wood grips are magnify the recoil. They look great but looks ain't everthing.
