Hogue grip question

I have a S&W pre-27 that had the stock (thick) square butt walnut grips. I just added a set of Hogue Presentation one-piece rubber grips and I have a question. Anybody else think those grips seem exceptionally small?

I don't have overly large hands (men's L glove size) and I've owned quite a number of N framed Smith's in my previous life. While I like the feel of these grips they just strike me as being awfully small and narrow. It didn't effect my accuracy any I was just curious. I had been away from shooting for the last 35 yrs or so.

I don't believe the search for grips can be made by choosing brand or style that others claim is popular.
Grips are more personal than shoes.
One must try styles and makes to get the one that best fits your hand. I went through a half dozen grips before settling on Pachymar Presentations for my Ruger Redhawk .44 mag. when I first got it. Lot of people suggested the Hogue. I tried two different models by Hogue but they just were not right for my hand.
Shop around. Gun shops usually have 'try' displays.

Thanks, rifleman, but I knew that :)

Problem is our "local" gun shop that would stock anything worth having is in Green Bay.....a "mere" 190 mi. drive

I'm pretty much limited to online shopping or getting my "local" gunsmith/FFL holder to order.....I say "local" because he's still 45 mi. each way.......
