Good photos.
I like to see where a herd of them has been rooting around, looks like three drunk guys with big rototillers did a lot of work.

Reminder, pig scat can be confused with the scat of wombat, so look carefully before declaring your find, LOL.

Kyle, where is that place at? If you want, I can connect you with a hog dogger in that area if you tell me where it is and you just may get that big mucker outta there or at least "barred" so he can fatten up and not be so stinkin' rank... I bet you have smelled when he had been there!

it's south of Tyler, around frankston.
I've got a few buddies with dogs around. This is the place I lease. The landowner won't let anyone run dogs on his place though.... I just shoot as many as I can.
I shot around 17 last year, the neighbor to the north of me shot around 40, and the guy to the east of me shot 20 or so.
I don't think anyone ever shot this guy. the biggest I killed was a short, fat boar around 225. This guy is maybe 250 or so, much much leaner. I really want to stick him with my bow. I shot 4 hogs out of this stand with my bow last year, but all were small boars under 100 lbs.

On my last hunt i took a couple of shots of pig rooting in a clearing i had come across while on a morning hunt. I did not come across any pigs that morning but the sign was everywhere. Some diggings were days old but some were freah from the night before.
I actually collected some hair from some of the rooting areas. Long bristles mainly black and white.
Pig poo is easy to distinguish it has a slight tail on the end of the poo, comes to like a point. if the poo is fresh it pays to break it apart to see what they are feeding on. If you can peice that together most likely you will see some in the light while out spotlighting.
