Hodgdon Hybrid 100v

Due to the absent mindedness that comes along with being a "professor" I have a pound of Hodgdon Hybrid 100v that I didn't intend to have.

Power is too slow for my 223.

But I do reload 7.62 x 54r. Am trying to find a formula for the hybrid 100v that will work with different weights of bullets for the Mosin. Hodgdon website is no help.

Am still looking and will let you all know if I find anything.

In the mean time if you all can help, I'm listening.

one of the newer powders as 4451, r 16 etc for the newer renditions of 6/6.5 cartridges. very similar to good ole 4350. however never just substitute loads/powders. bobn

Well, rats.

Word from Hodgdon is that the hybrid 100v is not suitable for the 7.62x54r. Not sure what I'm gonna do with this powder. Local range takes in guns and things on consignment. Maybe I'll take it there.

Life is good.
