I have a Glock 33/LaserMax/+1 Scherer magazine additions. I have been practicing with the 33 because unlike many that have posted, I just can't get up to speed with this gun. I'm a big guy, but accurate and fast follow-up shots are very difficult for me with this gun. My Glock 21 is easy, but the kick with this small & light pistol is a challenge. I just shot my new P7M8. I consider these pistols to be in direct functional competition. At 50 yards bench rest the P7 puts five into one inch, whereas the Glock shoots 2 7/8". When shooting offhand at seven yards the H&K shines. When shooting rapidly the P7's grouping is much smaller. Both speed and accuracy is much better with the P7. Now, that is my experience, but it is hard for me to imagine a different outcome with other shooters. I really like the Sig .357 on paper, but I'm thinking of retiring the Glock. I'm not a 9mm fan, but the differences were not subtle. I've seen many of you claiming great results with the 33. You claim little problem with recoil, but I just can't go along. I'm seriously thinking of putting the 33 to rest. Perhaps continued practice will change all of this, but I doubt that it will change substantially.
