HK USP Teeny Tiny Guide Rails - Will They Last?

I've been seriously considering getting a HK USP45 and USP 40 compact. The only thing that's put me off it the extremely small guide rails on the polymer frame. Do these HK's have any history of problems in this area? My guide rails on my glocks are huge by comparison! Any comments or experience? Thanks!
 
Yep, they will. H&K's USP has a superb reputation for quality and durability. I hope any of us last as long as those rails. :)
 
Conan - Purchase that pistol with confidence! I've put countless rounds through my USP 45 full size with no rail wear at all.

Thanks for the responses! I really like the operating system of the USP a lot, I was just a little unsure about the rails. The plastic's gonna be hot at the next gun show!
