HK USP frame question

I have an HK USP in .45, my buddy has a .40. We were comparing the guts the other day and noticed that one of the polymer/metal slide guides, right rear of pistol, seems a little rough on his. Only the polymer, not the metal. The pistol has about 300 rounds through it with no malfunctions and he never noticed it before. We looked at it with a magnifying glass and it looks like the slide guide might have been the spot where the frame was "pinched" off the mold, just like the little nubs you get when snapping pieces off a plastic frame when building models (boy, that takes me back). My USP exhibits no such effect.

Any feedback on this one?

I've looked at both of my USP's and didn't notice this "nub". It may just be the tab that comes off the mold and is worn down with wear. I mean, it is plasic and most plastic parts (like on models) have a tab on them where they are cut from the molds. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's causing the slide to catch or not cycle. But, I'm not an HK expert so don't relay on me.
