HK USP Experts holds only 17 rounds instead of 18

Hi,
I just bought a HK USP Expert (9x19). It came with two 18rd magazines but they only hold 17 rounds. I can´t add the last
round, because it won´t fit the gun after :( I once heard that this is often a problem with new magazines (for example Glock), but I can´t remember what has solved the problem ... Maybe someone knows a trick to get the last round fit :)

Bye,
Felix

Load them as full as you can get them and leave them that way for a while, the springs should loosen up.

I've had several standard capacity magazines that were an absolute bear to load the last round or two. After keeping them loaded for a while it has become feasible to load the last rounds.

Good luck. . .

Mr.White:
Where did you pick up a hi-cap 9mm Expert? I've only seen the Expert in 45ACP in my neck of the woods. How's it shoot. Would love to hear the details.

Sounds strange because none of my 4 Expert 9mm mags have problems like this. They worked with 18 rounds straight out-of-box, they even work with (15 rounds of) .40SW flawlessly...

Are you sure that the 18th round wont go into the mag?

Hi- Cap mags.

Is there really that much of a difference between 17 or 18 rounds.

If this weapon was going to war as a personal sidearm, i might be inclined to argue the point.

But, the point is moot. If you can't hit WHATEVER your shooting at with the first 16 rounds... better go back to what ever basic training you've had and figure out what you missed.

12-34hom.

FWIW the 9mm Expert is available in the US on a *very* limited basis, but with the 10 round magazines and no grip extension.
But standard USP 9mm hi-caps fit, but again you can't use the grip extension. I wish I could get a 18 round magazine here in the US.
