HK USP 9 c/F grip width/trigger reach?

I know the fullsize is longer than the compact. I know they both use different mags. Are the grip widths & trigger reach the same? Either would be carried SA C&L.

Try looking at this URL. It has measurements in the millimeter. A side-to-side actual comparison when I was choosing which to buy last year showed that the fullsize is about 3/4" longer and 3/4" taller than the compact. The grip of the compact has less girth than the full size, but with my mid-sized hands (7-1/4" tip to wrist), I could grasp either model and pull the DA trigger with no problems at all.

Hope this helps. :D

When I bought my USP9c, I held all of them...Full, compact, all the calibers, the tactical and the match (? I think that's what its called). Anyway, the full is a bit bigger than the compact. I have small hands, and the full is doable, if you really want the gun, but it is bigger. I bought the compact in 9, but am now going to trade it for something else because even though is shootable (I shoot very well with it actually) it just doesn't fit perfectly into my hand like I'd want it to. Not like a 1911 or BHP.

just thoughts...

first thaks for the 411 everyone. I test fired a compact 9 & liked it. I shoot the c 9 better than my Glock 17. I want the compact. I've found a used fulsize for $500 in a gun shop. I haven't looked at it yet. After I get off line I'm going to look at it. I'm not concerned about the fulsize being bigger than the compact. I'm concerned about grip size & trigger reach. I talked to the clerk on the phone & he said the grip size/trigger reach was the same for the c & F. So I'm looking at this used fulsize as an option if I can't find a compact. The only new compact I've found is $695 plus tax. I know someone who has a used compact for sale but that deal might fall through because the seller might want too much money.

I checked out the fulsize which came w/ 1 15rd hi-cap. I could reach the trigger in SA. I plan in carring SA C&L so trigger reach is ok. They didn't have a compact 9. They had a compact 45. I put them side by side. The fulsize trigger was in front of compact 45s trigger. It looked like the fulsize trigger was sitting in the compact 45 trigger. So this might be an option if I can't get a compact 9. At another shop. I saw a new fulsize 9 @ $699.
