HK USP 45 standard

If you ever want to replace the stock sights, I really like the adjustable Meprolights (night sights) that I put on mine.

Shoot it alot and practice (then you have to go home and clean it :D )! You'll have a ton of fun w/ it. Take a class at the range if you can also. It'll send you well on your way. Good luck.
 
The great thing about that pistol is that you never have to reach for that loooong double-action trigger. Assuming you have a variant 1, you can engage the safety with the hammer cocked and treat it like a 1911.

Nice choice. I like the "compact" version, which is more like normal size. Big guns.
