HK USP 45 lefthanded safeties

I will be getting my brand new HK USP 45 Tactical out of layaway next week. The only rub is the shop that I bought it from is not an authorized HK dealer. Does anyone know where I can order a lefthanded safety for this pistol? I am fairly confident that I can install it myself, and would like to get one as soon as possible.

Last time I asked, HK would only sell the safety parts to an authorized/certified armorer or gunsmith. I also know at least one very good reason for you not to do it on your own. There is a leaf style spring in the action, which if you take it out is no good. If you put it back in, it does not function properly and the result is a lousy trigger pull. While you might be able to put the safety in without removing it (if you even can), I would still recommend having an authorized smith do it. Good luck.
