H Handy Moderator Jan 27, 2002 #2 Could be. P7's weren't designed for heavy bullets. There weren't any when the P9S was designed. Maybe they just won't work. Or, try polishing the feed ramp.

S slickpuppy New member Jan 28, 2002 #3 If you do not know the history of the mag and recoil springs I would suggest you replace them with some new Wolff springs. www.gunsprings.com I have zero problems with my P9S Target in 9mm shooting any kind of bullet. It shoots everything I put through it.
