HK P9S feeding problems

I have a used HK P9S 9mm in good shape that won't feed flatnose rounds (147 gr) or hollowpoints. The round gets caught between the feed ramp and on the bottom of the barrel. This locks the slide and necessitates a removal of the mag and cycling the slide. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm thinking it is that the follower spring is worn out and not seating the round right. My brother mentioned possibly the recoil spring is worn but agreed that it was probably the follower spring. I have had no problems with any sort of ball ammo or similiar shapes. Please help.

P.S. anyone know where I can find any P9s parts or mags. I've looke at Parkcitiestactical.com.

Try your questions at HKPRO.

Braley Ballistics had P9S parts, but sold out of them. Always worth a try.

Larry Wolf is an HK distributor in CA. He has some P9S parts.

There's a guy who puts HK parts on auction at Gunbroker and Ebay named Jason. Goes by Bastelman or Bastelsexy.

How about sending your weapon to HK Sterling and have them check it out and replace parts, maybe refinish. It may cost some, but they might warranty some of it and you'll have it in factory specs. I heard of someone elses P9S getting the treatment.

Ask the guys at HKPRO.com about your problem and for those parts.

They are a bunch of very knowledgable guys about HKs. However, it does take a little while to get a response.
