HK G3 Kit

I have an urge to buy an HK G3 kit and was wondering if there is an instruction manual on putting together the kits and receiver or is it a simple thing to do like the AR's?
 
It's not as easy as an AR. There is welding to be done and the barrel must be pressed in with the correct headspace.

Some kits will have some or all of this done already. They call them 80% kits.
