"HK Edition" STROLLER ?

Allright... expecting a baby girl any day now, and we have all the cutsy wutsy stuff that could make any man emotional, including the right stroller with all the plastic body work and glove boxes on it.

I love buying stuff like anyone else, but one of the things I refused to get was stuff with Eddie Bauer and etc. plastered all over it. I dispise it. And I see it everywhere.

I was teasing my wife about buying a cheap stroller with all the trimmings and making it an "HK Edition" model. And she said I "better not not spend alot of money on it!" (translation...I've got permission)

So, I could get one, paint most parts flat black, put some techy details on it, cover the fabric with black balistic nylon, maybe use some old BDU's for pockets etc. and finish it off with an HK patch or embroidered logo. I'm pretty meticulous and obsessive so It'd have to be done right and look like a real product.

Question is... Is this in "REALLY" bad taste? (I can handle "mildly" bad taste)

Most people wouldn't recognize it, might piss off some, but that's the point. Any suggestions or comments?

I suggest a nice stainless model, polymer handles and tac light mounted for late night strolls (or blackouts). Stainless = no messy cleanups :)

there are some with mag looking all terrain wheels

let me look...

these make a lot of sense cause the little one is always sleeping when you get to the store so the car seat clips into a frame & away you go... http://store.babycenter.com/baby/g/product/600/95/64/1.shtml

Neat idea! One serious point, though: do go for the larger wheels. Small wheels on a stroller are awful!

Been doing a lot of stroller pushing myself. I will second the big wheel motion. Small wheels snag on everything.

Make sure it is collapsible. i.e. Folding Stock. Fits in the trunk.

Make sure it is modular. i.e. car seat snaps into it.

The Tac Light isn't a bad idea.

My wife made me stop when I started contemplating how I could conceal my Bushmaster in the bottom of the stroller. :D

Does anybody remember the Japanese movie, Shogun Assassin? The hero pushed his kid around in a stroller which had spring loaded blades. Cut them off at the ankle he did!

Assult Stroller..... hhhmmmm....

Time to break out the Realtree and start doing some modifications to me Graco !!!! How does bowflage(sp?) hold up after being puked on?

Get the kid some camo overalls.

Can you rig a gadget like a sidesaddle shotgun shell holder, to carry half a dozen bottles?

Replace the stroller's push handles with the folding stocks from a couple of MP5's.

Of course, you'll need a bumper sticker:
MY OTHER CAR IS A SHERMAN TANK.

I've seen it! Goofy looking movie with blood squirting 10 feet into the air. Pretty funny to watch if you have a sick sense of humor like me.

Ok, i'm all for the 'stroller sponsered by HK'.

But, lets draw a line here, don't go camo.

Don't show up to a pro-gun rally, or even worse, a anti-gun rally (in protest mode) with your little one dressed fully in camo, in a camo outfitted stroller.

please.

We may tolerate the abridgement of property rights and the elimination of a right to bear arms; but we should not pretend that these are not reductions of rights." -- Justice Scalia 1998
