Last night I saw a rerun of the History Channel's 'Tales of the Gun'...subject: The history of the Mauser Company and its rifles and handguns.
The so-called 'expert commentators' showed astonishingly bad gun handling, displaying and loading the Mauser and Luger pistols with fingers deeply inserted in trigger guards, jerking triggers, and allowing the muzzles of supposedly loaded firearms to cover the lens (and presumeably the lensman.)
If the experts who are our spokespeople to the general non-shooting public are this clueless, we are in bad shape.

If they take our guns, I intend to let my hair grow long and acquire the jawbone of an ass.
