Histeria - So simple even a child...

I was watching a tape of the children's show Histeria (featured on Kids WB, a semi-educational variety show/parody of history) as they talked about The Bill of Rights. As they went through the First Amendment, I held my breath and braced for raised blood pressure expecting "The 2nd means we get a National Guard" or some such nonsense (I'm so jaded... but I live in NJ).

To my surprise and delight it went as follows:

"The 2nd Amendment is our right to keep and bear arms!"
"What does that mean?"
"It means our right to wear short sleeves!"
"No, it's our right to own guns!", the character declared proudly armed in a Rambo-esque manner (full auto weapons included!).

Simple. Straight forward. Even a child can understand.

This show comes from the same folks who gave us Animaniacs (Right To Keep And Bear Giant Hammers) and Pinky & The Brain (Right To Keep And Bear Sinister Devices Used To Take Over The World). Of course, WB also gave us Elmer Fudd and his shotgun, Yosemite Sam and his Peacemakers, and Wile E. Coyote and his Acme Zap-O-Tronic Instantaneous Incapactitation Ray Gun (note: not effective on road runners).

Th-th-th-th-that's all folks!

Isn't Histeria a Spielberg cartoon like Animaniacs, Pinky & the Brain, Freakazoid, etc?

Spielberg is an avid shooter.

You are correct. As if "Schindler's List" and "Saving Private Ryan" were not enough reason to appreciate the man, now I have to give him bonus points.
