I just saw a hillarious segment on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
It could appear to start off sort of anti-gun if you are not paying attention. it talks about how dangerous schools are these days because of guns but then subtly points out how it is far behind places like ome, work, etc for danger.
It then procedes to make the guy wanting to arm teachers seem a little stupid (mainly because he is not a bright guy) but they they go to another guy for an alternative view. His idea for defending student was the "teach them to use books as sheilds and weapons" approach.
The segment then goes off on how stupid this idea really is by pretending to support it but pointing out how absurd it really is in reality. it even has some guys using handguns and rifles to show how easily the book are penetrated by firearms. They then have the guy go out with a book and try to defend himself from a guy with a paintball gun...hillarious!
