high standard HD military info?

My wife gave me a cool gift for my 40th birthday. It's a High Standard HD military 4 & 1/2" .22 lr pistol. I've had a chance to shoot it and it is just a really great gun. I've read the stuff from the blue book but I really need a little more info on this baby such as how do you strip it down, how do the safeties work etc. Is there a place to find user's guides? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for the replys. I figured out how to adjust the sights, but I still haven't figured out the take down levers. I'll keep surfing the web sites. Thanks, Weagle

The takedown lever is the little lever on the right side of the rear of the frame. The little bitty stud that sticks out of the top of the slide must be pressed down while the slide is pulled back and the takedown lever is swung down.

Lock Back

My Hi Standard does not lock back on last cartridge, and the take done lever on the right side seems not to do any thing. What seems to be wrong with it not locking back. I get the slide off with no problem and never touch the lever.
