High Standard Griswold & Gunnison

Since I started a thread on the Schneider and Glassic made by High standard, I dug through my reference materials and pulled out this article on the Griswold and Gunnison. I'll start another thread for the Leech and Rigdon.

The G&G looks like it has the Pietta Navy shaped grip compared to the ASM/Uberti/SAA shape. The Pietta has more flare at the bottom than the others.

The High Standard records were lost in a fire. Not much is on record about these. Uberti supplied barrels and cylinders in raw form. Not sure about the grip frames. HS did product the frames, hammers, triggers and all screws are standard thread. The blue finish is similar to S&W gloss blue finish.
