Hi all,
I have Benelli Montefeltro and I bought hi-viz magnetic front sight,
does this mangetic sight has any impact on barrel, geting magnetized or
anything else when I am shooting,I am just worried.

It won't do anything to the gun, but if you keep doing that, you're going to go blind.

In the shotgun world you should be looking at the target not the sights. If your gun fits it will shoot where you look!

Unless you're shooting at stationary targets - the front sight is useless .... ( and you might be for deer, turkey, etc )...

but for moving targets - game birds, clay targets, etc - you should never look at the front sight ( or you will stop your swing ) ....and probably be behind everything you are shooting at. Sights on shotguns - at barrel end and mid-rib for moving targets are only to make sure you have the rib of the gun aligned properly / and that your mount is consistent - as you mount the gun / then forget it .

I see new shooters with these things on their shotguns all the time / and they're just a big waste of money .... ( in my opinion )...

Again I totally agree. In lieu of wasting money on gimmicks buy a box or skid of shells and hone your skills. Tis really the only way to learn.

thanks guys, I thought it will improve shooting, in clay shooting box of 25 I can brake 23 any time, but ducks are different so thouhgt it will help, so I have to take it off and practice more .
