hi-vis sight for Browning Buckmark

Does anyone out there know where to find a hi-vis sight for a Browning Buckmark? I'd like to find one locally if possible, but nobody seems to have them.

Anyone know where to order one online?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I called Browning and ordered them. They arrived a couple of weeks later. You can probably have your friendly local gun store order them for you.

Mine work great. My group sizes shrunk in half.

Is it possible to mount an inexpensive-but-decent-quality pistol scope on a Buckmark Standard?

Yup, with a Weigand mount

I have a Buckmark Camper. I got the Weigand scope mount for the Buckmark from Brownell's (around $20.00 I think).

Then, in the interest of not putting a $1000 scope on a $175 (used) gun, I got a nice little BSA red dot for it on sale ($27.95). There are a lot of horror stories about the BSA's shaking apart, but on that little .22 with almost no recoil, I've put a couple of thousand rounds through it with no problem.

Of course it has become a lot more expensive gun since the wife never lets me near it at the range any more so I had to go out and buy that 1911 Mil Spec for myself.

Go cheap, have fun and replace the scope or red dot when you need to. The difference between that BSA red dot and a Leopold or Swarowski will buy a lot of .22 ammo bricks.

If you want to put scope on your buckmark just for fun shooting, the red dot is the way to go. With the scope if you don't hold it just right you can't see through it but with the red dot you just look through it and blast away. On a .22 I would reccomend a dot size of no larger than a 5MOA. I have a tasco with a 7MOA dot and once you get past 25yds. that dot covers up quite a bit of target. A #5 or smaller would be more precise. Mark

I just got their catalog today, and Williams makes Fire Sights for the BuckMark... they look pretty good.

Hhhmmm... I was gonna post a link, but those sights are not listed on the web site yet.(they are in the 2002 catalog)

If you're interested, give Williams a call at 1-800-530-9028
