Hi-standard

My brother gave me a Hi-standard .22 Sentinel Deluxe R-106. I remember it used to belong to my grandfather.

It's not too old because it has molded plastic grips. It's in excellent shape with a little bit of bluing rubbed off at the muzzle from the holster.

Anyone know about what age it is or anything else about this model revolver?

Firemedic, the High Standard Sentinel Deluxe revolver was manufactured from 1965-1974. The 'Deluxe' designation came from the adjustable sights, wide trigger and square butt grip. In excellent condition a Sentinel Deluxe with a blued finish might be worth about $115-$140 and about $130-$165 with a nickel finish. Hope this helps!

It is exactly what I wanted. The time frame matches when my grandad had it. My pistol has a fixed rear sight. but the rest matches.
