Greetings,
A local gun dealer has for sale a .22 caliber Hi-Standard Model B, Serial Number 19084. He wants $199 and says it is on consignment as part of an estate.
The gun is not in good condition; the bluing is worn and there is a spot of corrosion on top of the barrel. He says the price reflects that it is being sold as a shooter, not a collecter. If so, that's a lot of money for a sixty-year-old shooter, IMHO.
Can you tell me what this gun is worth and a little about it? Thanks for all your answers here.
By the way, he also has a collectible Colt Woodsman .22 from the thirties in good to excellent condition in the original box for $475. Good buy?
Regards,
Ledbetter
