Hi-Power s

I have been the pround owner of a 9mm Browning Hi-Power ever since my 21st birthday. (My buddies couldn't understand why I wanted to go shooting rather than bar hopping.) On my factory mags, I've grown quite fond of the fact that they have that "mousetrap spring" on the bottom of the mags to help boost the mag. out of the pistol. I'm looking for some 13 round mags with the same feature.

So, if anyone knows a source where a P35 fan can purchase pre-ban 13-round Hi-Power mags with that "mousetrap spring" on the bottom, please let me know.

You may be out of luck on this one. I think the mousetrap spring is a feature of the .40 cal mag and the post-ban 10 rounders. Every factory 13 rounder I've ever seen comes with a regular baseplate, small tab and spring.

The 10 round "mousetrap" mags are available. The 13's are very hard to find. I even looked at the Birmingham Show this past weekend and couldnt find any..

I'm afraid that you guys are a little off the mark here. Ingles had these kick springs on alot of their mags. These still turn up from time to time, but they are not cheap. As for aftermarket mags with this feature, I've never seen them.
