Hi-Power questions

I just bought what I think to be an Authentic Browning Hi-Power, but i'm not sure. The shope had two hi-powers, one had a round trigger guard and adjustable rear sights....I bought this one. The other had a square trigger guard like a glock and had fixed sights. I've never seen a hi-power with a square trigger guard. My hi-power has the same serial number on the slide, barrel, and frame, but the frame is not hardly the same color as the slide. How can I tell if my gun is really an authentic browning and what is special about the other hi-power with the square trigger guard? What's a good price to pay for either in about 85% condition?

Where does it say your Hi-Power was made? If it says Made in Belgium or Assembled in Portugal, it is an authentic. FN Hi-Powers didn't have a squared trigger guard; that was probably a Bulgarian Arcus. If your gun says it was made in Hungary, then you have an FEG. If it says Argentina, you have an FM Hi-Power. If it says Israel, then you have a Kareen.

Does your gun fit into any of the above classifications?
